Uzeyir bey Abdul Hussein oglu Hajibeyov (Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Language/data/iana scripts' not found.; Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Language/data/iana scripts' not found.; September 18, 1885, Agjabadi – November 23, 1948, Baku) was an Azerbaijani and Soviet composer, conductor, publicist, playwright, teacher, translator, and social figure from Azerbaijan. He is recognized as the father of Azerbaijani classical music and opera. He composed the National Anthem of Azerbaijan.[1]
