User talk:PiRSquared Flooder

Rules

This bot flagged account is for the manual use of PiRSquared17 to make many small bot-like, non-controversial edits to articles that are not easy to program in his two normal bot accounts. It is to aid in reducing the flooding of Recent Changes that some in the community have found disruptive to their patrolling efforts. It is not to be used for making normal article edits, edits to talk pages, reverts, and the like.

Rollback must never be granted to this account!

Approvals

All requests for tasks permitted to be made with this account must be requested on this talk page. Under no circumstances are tasks not approved here permitted to be done by this account! Only a crat may approve tasks for this account. Once a type of task is approved the user does not have to ask again for permission to perform that type of task each time it is to be performed. A crat may also remove permission to perform a task at their discretion.

Contravention of these rules may lead to this account being blocked, and appropriate responses being enacted upon the account owner.

Changing ".The" to ". The" πr2 (talk • changes) 22:09, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
Approved. fr33kman 02:13, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Approved Tasks

  • Stub sorting (sorting only, no tagging)
    • approved for sorting that is not practical to do with you pywiki bots fr33kman 23:18, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
  • Creating redirects
    • approved for creating new redirects, not for wiping out articles that exist and making them redirects. That needs visibility in case an editor objects. fr33kman 23:18, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
  • Tagging articles as stubs (check with readability tool)
approved - btw: if all you are doing is small bot like edits, use this account as we agreed! fr33kman 02:50, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
I didn't because it wasn't approved. πr2 02:55, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Inactivity

Due to no edits on your bot in over a year I have removed the flag. If you wish to activate the bot again in the future let one of us crats know and we can get that done. -DJSasso (talk) 19:06, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

Same thing again. If you intend to become active let us know and re-request the flag. -DJSasso (talk) 17:39, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Re-approve all previously approved tasks, add bot/flooder

I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, πr2 (talk • changes) 03:44, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Proof I still have access to account. πr2 (talk • changes) (flooding) 03:49, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
I would like to clarify what categories exactly you would be adding to pages. Will you be basing them based on the system over at EN? Chenzw  Talk  03:50, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
User:Auntof6 created a lot of categories without {{commonscat}} and en interwiki links, {{catmain}}. Maybe this is the wrong section. πr2 (talk • changes) 03:54, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
So are you still mass-adding categories to pages? Chenzw  Talk  02:41, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
I just want to fix up these pages (warning: not HTTPS!) and maybe change {{stub}}. πr2 (talk • changes) 02:45, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
20px Approved. Chenzw  Talk  02:53, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
