Groove metal is a post-thrash subgenre of heavy metal. It is often used to describe Pantera[1] and Exhorder[2]. Groove metal is basically thrash metal. but at a slower tempo[3]. It also has aggressive and strong vocals, heavy sounding bass riffs and heavy guitar riffs with typical heavy metal solos[3].
