Bergen County is a county in the U.S. State of New Jersey. It is rich and has more people living in it than other counties in New Jersey. As of a 2009 United States Census, it had 895,250 people.[2] It is part of the New York metropolitan area. The county is the one of the last remaining counties in the nation where shops are closed on Sundays because of "blue laws", which force nearly all retail stores to be closed on Sunday.
