The Armenian language [1] is an Indo-European language, spoken by Armenians.

It is the official language of Armenia and the region of Nagorno-Karabakh. The language is also widely spoken by Armenian communities all over the world. It has its own alphabet, the Armenian alphabet. There are two standard forms of Armenian: Eastern Armenian and Western Armenian.
